This second year in the life of MIAMIinUNIOVI is being very exciting. I’m very happy to see the new group of students thriving in this exceptional program. Like last year, students are completing a demanding academic schedule while enjoying many unique cultural and linguistic experiences around Spain and Europe. Most of our students are also participating in teaching internships, and many are looking forward to hiking the Way of St. James in May. I invite you to learn more about their experiences in Spain through their own words and pictures. You’ll see them on the cultural trip around Spain, in Italy, France and Holland, during a visit to a local cider brewery, and cheering in the Sporting de Gijón soccer stadium. You’ll appreciate their views on food, family life, and living in Oviedo. And let’s not forget about some funny anecdotes during their teaching internship! Read ahead!
